The Bigger Picture Arts was formed recently in April 2009 after a group of artists and community members in Bolton identified the need for workshops and programmes that could genuinely make a difference to young peoples lives and members of society.

Bigger Picture Arts believed in projects that deliver practical skills and personal development, individual expression and group cohesion, an enjoyable and educational process whilst attaining clear outcomes of high artistic standard and merit. We believe that their is an art form for everybody and that people simply need to find their talent.

We believe that art can make a difference to peoples lives and that by providing expert tuition and encouragement we can bring community members together, giving people new skills, confidence and the ability to develop further into education, into new art forms, hobbies or networks.

Our committee is made up from community members from a diverse background, comprising of artists, business people, and volunteers. We encourage freelance artists and volunteers to contact us and be included in our database for future events and activities.
